The PRIYAFIL Group was established in 1972 through an entrepreneurial venture called PRIYADARSHINI FILAMENTS, a partnership firm having its base in the Garden City of Bangalore. Our Founder, Late Sri R. M. Prabhu introduced a sense of fierce determination and commitment to quality, hence jump starting the company on the path of success.

During its growth phase, the Firm was recognized for its commitment to quality and service to customers and awarded the prestigious UDYOG PATRA Award by the Government of India. It was also awarded the KLN Award for sustained growth by the Government of Karnataka. On the wings of these successes, the group diversified in a small way into plastic woven sacks in 1985 and expanded its operations in this field in 1993.

In 1996, the Group further diversified into a fully export oriented manufacturing activities of Raschel Sacks catering to the markets in Europe, The Middle East and The U.S.A. Recently, PP Leno Sacks and HDPE Shading Nets have been added to the array of quality products manufactured by the Group.

Presently the Group manufactures its various products under the banners of PRIYADARSHINI FILAMENTS (P) LTD (Pfco) and SUVIKRAM PLASTEX (P) LTD (Suvikram). Pfco's expertise is in the field of monofilament and Raschel Knitted applications while Suvikram concentrates on packaging solutions.

Catering to markets ranging from the pre harvest applications in agriculture to post harvest vegetable packaging and other applications, the company has had a structured growth fuelled by multiple plants summing to a total of two and half million Kgs per annum. The company has recently expanded into the post harvest packaging industry for vegetables and has built a resilient reputation for quality and adherence to standards through its brands “AgriLeno^®”, "Mayur"  .

An India wide network of long standing partners has been the corner stone for our achievements over the last thirty years. The 700 strong workforces are managed by a professional group of competent executives driven by “Value based business ethics” and quality consciousness.
