Applications
Plastic Woven Sacks (PWS) are made of High Density Polyethylene
(HDPE) or Polyproylene (PP) and are used for packing of Bulk products
of 25 Kgs and above. Primarily used in the Cement industry, these
PWS are also used in Textiles, Tea, Fertilizers, Rice, Grains, Sugar
and Paper Industry.
Because of their availability round the year and because of their
low economic cost these bags are progressively replacing the Jute
Packing used predominantly in India.
There are various sizes of the bags produced from Circular looms
which weave these bags in Tubular form, thereby ensuring faster
production of bags as well as stronger than the “L”
sewn kind.
To make these bags waterproof a thin film of Low density Polyethylene
(LDPE) is also coated on to these fabrics and for highly hygroscopic
products like sugar an additional High Molecular High density Polyethylene
(HMHDPE), LDPE, PP liners may also be provided based on the customers
needs.
Over a period of time the width of these tubular sacks have standardized
for different packing needs. A most often used for with their sizes
are as below.
The industry is highly competitive and ubiquitous and is available
round the year. Our PWS have found customer acceptability not only
for consistent quality but also for ensuring timely delivery and
very low wastage. Keeping in tune with the Companies Quality Policy
these sacks have found acceptability largely in the food grains
sector and Wrapping application. |
